Ghoulish tales from OTC shared at the Haunted Museum Friday [UPDATED]Published 10:33am Thursday, October 24, 2013 Updated 12:34pm Thursday, October 24, 2013
October means one thing at the Otter Tail County Historical Society: time for the annual Haunted Museum with shows at 2 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday.
There is something about the crisp cool air and freshly fallen leaves that stir up stories of grisly murders, ax waving maniacs and other blood curdling tales.
The history of Otter Tail County is replete with stories that are shocking, spine tingling and bizarre.
Held in a darkened museum with only your imagination as your guide, storytellers and actors will present actual accounts of tales too horrifying to mention.
Many of the events have become legendary, to the point that the truth has often been obscured. With the addition of several “new” stories this year, the Haunted Museum is an opportunity to go beyond the rumors to get the real gory details. Do you have the nerves to find out what really happened on the pig farm?
Admission is just $5. For more information, call 218-736-6038 or visit www.otchs.org.
