A Level 3 predatory offender will move to Fergus Falls Nov. 3, according to a news release from the Fergus Falls Police Department. A community notification meeting will be held Oct. 29 at the police department.
Anthony Dale Randklev, 35, hasn’t acquired a permanent address yet and will be homeless within Fergus Falls.
He is not wanted by police and has served his criminal sentence.
His criminal history includes the kidnapping of an adult female acquaintance.
Randklev engaged in sexual contact with the victim, gaining compliance through the use of force and threats of bodily harm.
The notification meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Oct. 29 in the community room at the police department.
Representatives from the police department and the Department of Corrections will be available to provide the public with useful information on public safety.
Police are releasing the information to the community pursuant to Minnesota Statute 244.052.
The statute authorizes law enforcement to inform the public of a sexual or predatory offender’s release from prison or a secure treatment facility.
