PERHAM — The first seeded Perham Yellowjackets made easy work of the Pelican Rapids Vikings in the first round of the Section 8AA tournament, winning the match in three sets (25-14, 25-6,25-7).

“The Vikings made some great rallies but the jackets did not let anything hit the ground,” Viking coach Heidi Isaman said. “The Vikings fought hard but with too many serve receive errors and having trouble slowing down their hitters the Vikings could just not hold on.”

The Vikings finish its season 4-19-2.
