Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: Psychology. Just learning about the brain and why we do the things we do is very interesting to me.
Q: What are some other clubs and activities you participate in?
A: Interact, NHS, SADD, band, show band and marching band, I teach Sunday school and other community service activities.
Q: What instrument do you play in band?
Q: Do you have a favorite saxophonist?
A: Mr. Pelanek our band teacher. He played saxophone and he’s phenomenal so I look up to him.
Q: What are your plans for next year?
A: I’m going to hopefully attend the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and major in biochemistry to become a doctor. You can branch off into different areas, but, right now, I’m thinking pediatric oncology.
Q: Volleyball or basketball?
A: Volleyball. I like to be competitive and to be part of a team. I feel that since volleyball is my favorite I feel closer with those girls, even though most of them play basketball. It’s just different and I’ve always loved volleyball.
Q: Do you have a favorite volleyball memory?
A: Definitely state volleyball last year. This year, being a senior and being a captain, starting fresh and getting close with the girls is also a huge memory I’ll remember forever.
Q: What is it like playing at the state tournament?
A: It was crazy. There are so many people and it’s so big that it’s just a whole different ball game. It’s awesome. I’d love to be able to do that every year.
Q: What is one thing that people don’t know about you?
A: I am very shy around people I don’t know, but very outgoing and crazy around people I do know.
