Annual Brewers Fest on tap tonight

The Otter Tail County Historical Society will host its annual Brewers Festival this weekend.

The festival is set to run from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight at the VFW in Fergus Falls.

Beer and wine vendors will offer samples of their products and the VFW will provide snacks, including cheese and crackers.

For the first time, guests will also receive a complementary glass to take home.

Admission to the festival is $15 at the door, but $12 advance tickets will still be available at both the Historical Museum and the VFW until 5 p.m. Friday.

The fall season is in full swing, with a haunted house tour on the Regional Treatment Center campus and the library hosting a Pumpkin Party event Saturday morning.

 

Friday

• Brewers Festival, Fergus Falls VFW, 7 to 10 p.m.

• Pelican Rapids Oktoberfest, various locations around the city, all day

• Open swimming, Kennedy Secondary School, 7 to 9 p.m.

• Edge Dance and Performing Arts’ haunted house, Fergus Falls Regional Treatment Center campus, 7 to 11 p.m.

• Quilts of Valor sewing day, WestRidge Mall, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Shirlee Aho Daulton and Sandra Shaughnessy: Finn Shui II exhibit Kaddatz Galleries, all day long

 

Saturday

• A Pumpkin Party, Fergus Falls Public Library, 10 to 11 a.m.

• Pelican Rapids Oktoberfest, various locations around the city, all day

• Zombie crawl, begins at the Old Flour Mill parking lot at 5 p.m.

• Dala concert, A Center for the Arts, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

• Camp Emily, Lakeland Hospice, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Aasness Auction Sale, Red Horse Ranch Area

• Shirlee Aho Daulton and Sandra Shaughnessy: Finn Shui II exhibit, Kaddatz Galleries, all day long

 

Sunday

• Gary Ness benefit, Ashby American Legion, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Pelican Rapids Oktoberfest, various locations around the city
