Cougars scratch Tigers 55-12

ADA — The Rothsay Tigers were able to battle through the weather, but were not able to handle the Ada-Borup offense as the Cougars recorded a 55-12 Friday.

Quarterback Noah Brenden led the Tigers with 132 yards on the ground on 23 attempts. Brenden recorded a touchdown in the game, while runningback Taylor Oien had the other score, a five yard scamper.

Defensively, Logan Moen recorded 11 tackles for Rothsay, while Brenden also got it done on defense with eight tackles of his own.

The Tigers will host the Waubun Bombers in its last regular season game at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.
