Cow killed on highway

A black cow in the road Thursday night was hit and killed by a vehicle, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

A Chrysler Cirrus hit the cow in the head at County Hwy. 1 and County Hwy. 45 at 8 p.m. The vehicle sustained damage to a headlight, fender and door but was drivable. There were no injuries.

The cow’s owner removed it from the road.
