Dalton woman sentenced for domestic assault

Lisa Marie Robinson, 33, of Dalton, was sentenced Oct. 18 in Otter Tail County District Court to 90 days in jail, with 87 days to be stayed for two years, for misdemeanor domestic assault. She pleaded guilty Sept. 9. In exchange for the plea, an additional count of felony domestic assault by strangulation was dismissed.

According to the criminal complaint, an argument between Robinson and a man July 8 at a Dalton residence led to her grabbing, scratching, biting and choking him.
