Fergus boys soccer holds awards banquet

On Monday, the Fergus Falls boys soccer team held its end of the year banquet at Augustana Church.

Sam Rausch was awarded team MVP and Central Lakes All-Conference. David Schneck and Taylor Lemke each received honorable mention in the conference.

Lemke also was awarded the Damien Jacklitch award, while Schneck shared the Hardest Worker award with Brady Anderson.

Connor Hatfield (Most Improved) and Mitchell Cole (Most Inspirational) also received awards.

Rausch, Schneck, Lemke, Hatfield and Seth Stein received All-Conference academic honors for the 2013 season.

Anderson, Cole and Andrew MacFarlane were named as next season’s captains.
