Otters clip Eagles in three sets

The Fergus Falls volleyball team finally saw all its pieces come together Thursday as it cruised to a three-set victory over St. Cloud Apollo 25-15, 25-13, 25-21.

“We played so much better then earlier in the week,” Otter coach Renee Erickson said. “

Devonie Smith, who moved back to libero, led the Otters in digs with 19, while teammate Laura Gaustad chipped in 18 of her own in the win.

The Otters will look to keep the momentum flowing as it hosts the Moorhead Spuds at 7 p.m. Monday.
