UNDERWOOD — Kaitlyn Holen put down 14 kills to lead the Underwood Rockets past the Ashby Arrows Tuesday night. The Rockets earned a Little Eight conference win, taking three straight sets (25-23, 25-18, 25-11).

“We started out slow tonight but progressively picked up energy as the night went on,” said Rocket head coach Diane Ross.

Karlea Thorson followed up with five kills. Kenzie Woodman and Taylor Leitch each had four.

The match was worth two conference points on the year for the Rockets, since the two teams only play once.

The Rockets improve to 10-12 (4-4) and take on Rothsay in a 7 p.m. match on Thursday at home.

The Arrows fall to 7-17-1 (3-4) and face Hillcrest on the road at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Fergus Falls.
