Trojans drop Tigers in three

Published 10:14am Tuesday, October 15, 2013

BARNESVILLE — Despite a team leading 12 kills from Rothsay’s Caitlin Simmer, the Barnesvile Trojan volleyball team swept the Rothsay Tigers in three sets (25-13, 25-13, 25-22).

“We were off during our first two games and really struggled to play together as a team,” said Tiger head coach Heather Reber. “We played better in game three but still fell short. Against Barnesville you need to bring your best and we were unable to do that tonight.”

The Tigers travel for a 7:30 p.m. game tonight in Ashby against the Arrows.
