Trojans hold out against Vikings

BARNESVILLE – The Barnesville volleyball team only needed three sets to take out the visiting Pelican Rapids Vikings on Tuesday night, sweeping the match in three sets (25-19, 25-12, 25-16).

Mackenzie Korf led the Viking offense with four kills and Lincoln Haiby followed with three. Korf also had 14 digs on defense, while Ariel Martinson followed with 10.

With the loss, the Vikings fall to 4-14-2. Pelican Rapids hits the road for a 7:30 p.m. match on Thursday against Perham.
