Two-vehicle collision reported

A pickup truck rear-ended another pickup truck just before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday resulting in injuries to both drivers, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

A 68-year-old Vergas woman rear-ended a pickup parked on an approach along County Hwy. 17.

Vergas Rescue and Fire departments extricated the woman and she was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes with unknown injuries.

The 36-year-old man in the other truck had a minor head injury and was taken from the scene by a friend or relative.
