Otter volleyball receives state five seed

With its win Saturday in Hawley over the Thief River Falls Prowlers, the Fergus Falls volleyball team celebrated its first Section 8AA title and berth into state.

The Otters received the fifth seed in the tournament and will take on fourth seeded Belle Plaine at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

There will be a fan bus that will leave for the game on Thursday from the Kennedy Secondary School bus parking lot at 12:15 p.m. To sign up for the bus, go the the Kennedy Activities Office in the school.
