The bicyclist who was hit and killed by a vehicle last week near Parkers Prairie has been identified by the Minnesota State Patrol.
Richard Miller, 75, of Parkers Prairie, was riding on 145th Street headed westbound at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, when he came into the lane of traffic and broadsided a construction truck headed northbound on State Hwy. 29.
Miller was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital and later died.
The driver of the truck, Jeffrey Wark, 59, of Parkers Prairie, was not injured. The truck was not damaged in the crash.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
