Looking to relieve some stress before the holiday rush? Then plan to Flock to the Museum from Thursday, Nov 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Otter Tail County Historical Museum in Fergus Falls.

With the museum open until 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, this three-day cornucopia of everything Thanksgiving includes daily make and take family craft activities, free apple cider, gift shop sales, and museum scavenger hunts.

On Thursday at 6 p.m. participants will “Talk Turkey,” with Mark Ronning.

A life long outdoors man, Mark will offer tips on hunting the elusive turkey and other wild game.

On Friday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m., Karen Kreiser will give a talk on women and hunting and how to prepare delicious wild game meals.

Rumor has it that Karen will have samples of some of her signature recipes.

On Saturday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m., a special tribute is planned for Charles Beck and the volunteers who designed and built the historical museum in 1972.

Coffee and cake will be served.

The weekend’s activities conclude with a drawing for a free turkey.
