A Henning resident left home for a few minutes and apparently scared off a burglar upon return, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

Someone broke a window and entered the house in the 25000 block of 480th Avenue just before 6 p.m. Thursday.

The burglar left and nothing was missing from the house.

The damage to the window was $200 or less.

There are no suspects at this time, although authorities found footprint.
