Burris faces new charges [UPDATED]

It is believed that Michael Alan Burris, charged in the death of nephew Scott Burris more than a year ago, is facing new charges in Arizona after allegedly making death threats from jail and trying to hire a hit man, according to a report from WDAY-TV in Fargo.

Burris is awaiting extradition to face murder charges in Otter Tail County for the alleged murder of Scott Burris in Elizabeth.

Michael Alan Burris’ son Michael Kyle Burris is also charged in the case.

The governor of Arizona has issued a warrant for Burris’ return, WDAY-TV reported.
