Driver cited for wrong turn

A 41-year-old Fergus Falls man was cited Thursday after he turned into the wrong lane of traffic causing a crash, according to police.

The driver was southbound on Union Avenue at 8:37 a.m. when he turned left onto Washington Avenue.

He turned into the westbound lane, colliding with a vehicle that was stopped on Washington at the stop sign.

Each vehicle sustained minimal front end damage.

The driver was cited for improper turning.
