Quality Toyota Sports Spotlight: Isaac: Seeing Comet red

Hillcrest Comet Jacob Isaac serves as a junior captain for the boys basketball team. He also ran the offense as quarterback on the Comet football team and will run track in the spring. He is an avid sports fan, listing playing and following sports as his main hobbies, and plans to further is education after graduation in the future.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Math. Problem solving comes easy to me.

Q: Do you have any idea what you want to study in college?

A: Either engineering or accounting.

Q: Where would you like to go?

A: I’ve thought about NDSU or Colorado Christian. Those are my top two.

Q: What are some other clubs and activities you are involved with?

A: Key Club and NHS.

Q: What is your favorite of the sports you play?

A: Basketball.

Q: What do you like about basketball?

A: Just the hard work and that whenever you make a mistake you can make up for it right away by hustling back on defense or offense.

Q: What are you favorite sports teams to follow?

A: The Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Q: Why do you like those teams?

A: Growing up with my parents, they liked them.

Q: Do you think Peyton Manning will make a Super Bowl run this year?

A: Yeah, definitely.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Probably any kind of pasta.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant?

A: Chipotle

Q: What is your favorite color?

A: Red.

Q: What would you do with a million dollars?

A: I’d like to say that I’d give a lot of it away. Then I would probably help out my family with whatever they need.
