ASHBY — The Barnesville boys basketball team was able to establish an early lead on its opposition’s court and never let it go as the Trojans handed the Ashby Arrows its second loss 64-53 Tuesday.

“Even though we lost tonight I thought we played a much better game overall from start to finish than we did our first game,” Arrows coach Jeremy Knick said. “Our rebounding was better and the guys kept fighting against a very aggressive Barnesville team.”

Blake Ohren led the Arrows with 15 points and had nine rebounds, while teammates Zach Barry and Morgan Wing chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The Arrows will look to regroup as it takes Thanksgiving weekend off before playing Little Eight Conference rival Battle Lake away at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
