Warriors tame Tigers

WHEATON — The Rothsay boys were unable to overcome a first half lead as the hosting Wheaton Warriors defeated the Tigers 75-58 Tuesday.

Brett Brenden picked up a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Tigers, while teammate Casey Backstrom also dropped in 17 tallies.

The Tigers will get a break from the action before taking on the Battle Lake Battlers in a Little Eight Conference showdown at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.
