Holiday events fill up weekend schedule

With Thanksgiving over, the holiday season has arrived, and people will have the chance to attend several seasonal events this weekend.

The M State Fergus Falls band and winter choirs each have concerts tonight and the choir will have another show Saturday.

The Bigwood Event Center will host a dinner and comedy show tonight beginning at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, WestRidge Mall has a handful of events for adults and children alike. Santa Claus will be on hand to meet children from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a bell choir will perform from 2 to 3 p.m., along with other holiday events.

 

Friday

• Band and winter choir concert, M State Fergus Falls, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

• Christmas banquet, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, 6 to 11 p.m.

• Open swimming, Kennedy Secondary School pool, 7 to 9 p.m.

• Holiday dinner and comedy show, Bigwood Event Center, 7 to 8 p.m.

• Third annual candlelight vigil, Angel of Hope Memorial Park, 7 to 8 p.m.

• Lil’ Cowboys days, Red Horse Ranch Arena, 9 to 11 a.m.

• David Norstad, Kaddatz Galleries, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Saturday

• Caring Partners garage sale, WestRidge Mall, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Christmas Art, Craft and Home show, WestRidge Mall, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Santa at the WestRidge Mall, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• EDGE Dance and Performing Arts Show, WestRidge Mall, 1 to 2 p.m.

• Dance and Dessert, A Center for the Arts, 2 to 4 p.m.

• Glory Deo Bell Choir, WestRidge Mall, 2 to 3 p.m.

• Band concert, M State Fergus Falls, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

• David Norstad, Kaddatz Galleries, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Sunday

• Dance and Dessert, A Center for the Arts, 2 to 4 p.m.
