A South Dakota man was charged with two drug-related felonies in Otter Tail County District Court.
His first court appearance was Monday.
Ermin Saric, 23, of Watertown, S.D., was charged with two felony counts of simulated drugs-manufacture/sell/transfer/deliver.
According to the criminal complaint, an informant with the West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force witnessed Saric snorting cocaine April 2 at a Pelican Rapids residence.
The next day, Saric allegedly sold the informant a baggie with approximately four grams of a white substance for $500 that was thought to be cocaine.
However, the substance tested negative for cocaine, the report says.
Saric’s next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 30.
