Police arrested a 20-year-old man Monday in connection with a home invasion that happened over the summer in Fergus Falls.

Forensic evidence linked the man to the scene, and he was arrested at 5:23 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of North Burlington Avenue, according to police.

The suspect was one of three men who allegedly kicked in the door of a Fergus Falls apartment and assaulted a man.

Some of the men were armed with knives, and though the victim was not stabbed, he received medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Possible charges for the man arrested include first-degree burglary with a dangerous weapon and second-degree assault.

The locations of the other two suspects are unknown; warrants are out for their arrests.
