Chargers spark past Rockets

UNDERWOOD — The Brandon-Evansville girls basketball team used a second half spark to edge Little Eight Conference for Underwood 52-46 Thursday.

Megan Kokett led the Chargers with 18 points, while Karlea Thorson and Taylor Leitch each had 12 tallies for the Rockets in the game.

The Chargers will be on break until Jan. 3 where they travel to take on Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, while the Rockets will participate in the Pelican Rapids Holiday Tournament on Dec. 27.
