Rebels hand Vikings first loss

GLYNDON — The Dilworth-Glydon-Felton Rebels were able to get the best of Heart O’Lakes Conference rival No. 3 (Class A) Pelican Rapids Friday as it defeated the visitor 53-41.

The Rebels were able to stop the Vikings’ leading scorere Ryan Bruggeman, holding him to 14 points, while also building on a 26-17 lead at the break.

The Vikings will look to recover Friday as it takes part in the Hillsboro holiday tournament as it faces Cavalier at 8 p.m.
