Fergus Falls senior Sydney Kuehl has made a name for herself on the ice, as well as on the pitch.
Kuehl, who plays soccer and hockey for the Otters, has her sights on a great season for the Fergus girls on the ice and her goals for the future planned out.
I sat down with Kuehl to talk a little hockey and find out what her plans are for the new year.
Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: English, probably, I like to write.
Q: What do you like to write?
A: Personal stuff, little stories, stuff like that.
Q: What are your plans for next year?
A: I’m going to the community college (M State) the first two years and I plan on transferring to MSUM to study to be a probation office.
Q: You play soccer in the fall and hockey during the winter, do you play anything in the spring?
A: I uses to be in track, but I quit a couple of years ago to get a job.
Q: Between soccer and hockey, which is your favorite sport?
Q: What do you like about soccer?
A: I just like the whole sport. I played goalie this last year instead of playing out, its more fun to me.
Q: Do you have any favorite memories from soccer or hockey?
A: My favorite memory was from soccer. Our last game this year against Alexandria we went into three shootouts and overtime. We ended up losing, but it was a really good game.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Chicken alfredo pasta.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: Noodles & Company
Q: What is your favorite sport to watch on T.V.?
Q: What would you do with a million dollars?
A: Take my friends shopping.
Q: What is your New Year’s Resolution?
A: To be a better person.
