A 16-year-old Dalton boy hit a snow drift, causing him to lose control of his vehicle Wednesday, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver was on County Hwy. 82 at the Interstate 94 overpass when he was unable to avoid a large snow drift that was across the eastbound lane due to an oncoming vehicle. Once he hit the drift, he hit the guard rail.
There was no damage to the bridge or guard rail and minor damage to the front right headlight of the vehicle.
There were no injuries.
