Haiby records double-double, leads Vikings past Trojans

PELICAN RAPIDS — Lincoln Haiby’s 17 points and 19 rebounds not only earned the junior a double-double Thursday night against the Barnesville Trojans, but it also helped lead the Vikings to a 49-34 victory in Heart O’ Lakes Conference play.

Ashlyn French put in 12 points of her own. Mackenzie Korf had 12 points as well, along with seven assists and five rebounds. Hally Evenson had seven rebounds.

The victory gives the Vikings a perfect 10-0 start to the season.

Pelican Rapids gets right back on the court Friday night as the girls team travels to Detroit Lakes to take on the 4-4 Detroit Lakes Lakers.
