Ottertail plans several improvement projects

A handful of beautification and improvement projects are on the docket this year in Ottertail, according to a report in the Perham Focus.

The Perham City Council discussed the projects at its Jan. 16 meeting. The city’s planning committee members are hoping to purchase a handicap-accessible pier sometime next month and have it ready for use in the spring.

The council members also authorized an application to move forward with a landscaping project for the city’s bike path.

City officials have been working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation in putting together the landscaping plan.

Ottertail officials will be looking to update city sidewalks and pave some city streets later in the year
