Vikings rebound with win over Patriots

PEQUOT LAKES — The Pelican Rapids boys were in need of a win Tuesday after falling in its past three contests. The Vikings were able to put together a well-rounded game and sink the hosting Pequot Lakes Patriots 87-67.

Charles Taylor led the Pelican boys with 23 tallies, while teammates Ryan Bruggeman (20), Travis Haugen (15) and Blaine Gorton (11) were also in double figures in the victory.

The Vikings will continue its road trip as it travels to take on the Frazee Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
