Ashby boys fall to Frazee

Published 9:49am Wednesday, February 19, 2014

FRAZEE — The Ashby boys basketball team could not get its shots to fall Tuesday as the hosting Frazee Hornets claimed a 46-37 victory.

“Our defense was pretty solid tonight,” Arrows’ coach Jeremy Knick said. “We didn’t have any big breakdowns and we didn’t give them too many second chance points. Our struggles came on offense. We had a lot of good looks and shots that usually fall and didn’t.”

The Arrows were led by Jeff Berglund and Blake Ohren, each scoring 12 points in the game.

The Arrows will close out its regular season schedule at home against the West Central Area Knights at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
