Nersten, Comets keep Owls’ heads spinning

Hillcrest’s Kelsey Nersten was 10-for-11 from the field, finishing with 22 points as the Comets defeated the visiting Hancock Owls 55-48 Tuesday night.

Laura Tungseth recorded a double-double for the home squad with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Comets will finish the regular season on the road against Henning at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
