Comets defeat Hornets on neutral court

Published 10:42am Tuesday, February 4, 2014

Due to a water leak at their home gym, the Hillcrest Comet boys basketball team took on the visiting Henning Hornets at M State Monday.

The court didn’t make any different for the Comets as it defeated the visiting Hornets 65-52.

Jake Isaac dropped in 27 points to lead the Comets, while teammate Daniel Nersten chipped in 22 tallies in the win.

The Comets will travel to Underwood for a 7:30 p.m. Little Eight Conference tilt Thursday.
