Eagles fly away with win over Rockets

NEW YORK MILLS — The Underwood girls were able to find the scoring bug in the second half, but the hosting New York Mills Eagles were able to hold on to a 46-35 victory Thursday.

Karlea Thorson was the only player in double figures for the Rockets as she scored 13 second half points.

Elly Rutten had 16 points for New York Mills in the win.

The Rockets will host Bertha-Hewitt in a 7:30 p.m. Tuesday showdown.
