Kovash honored for outstanding work [UPDATED]

Jeremy Kovash, executive director for the Lakes Country Service Cooperative, was named an Outstanding Central Office Leader by the Minnesota Association of School Administrators.

Kovash will be honored for exhibiting a willingness to risk, possessing strong communications skills, being a progressive change agent, and having high expectations for self and others at a statewide recognition ceremony to be held at the MASA/MASE Spring Conference, March 14-15, in Brooklyn Park.

Kovash has demonstrated exemplary professional and organizational leadership. Under his leadership, LCSC has provided a diverse range of regional support to schools in West Central Minnesota. Working to provide the best possible education services, Mr. Kovash has developed partnerships with numerous businesses and associations to provide professional development, innovative educational services and academic programs, procurement, technology support services, financial services, and health and safety opportunities for its members.

He has served as the executive director of the Lakes Country Service Cooperative since 2006. He holds a master’s degree in education leadership from Moorhead State University and a bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Concordia College.
