The Bills to perform in Fergus Falls Feb. 14 [UPDATED]

The Canadian acoustic music super-group, The Bills, are carrying on a long-standing roots/folk/rock tradition this February in a tour through Minnesota, Manitoba and Missouri.

They will be performing at A Center for the Arts’ Fergus Theatre, 124 W. Lincoln Ave., downtown Fergus Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $5 for children/students. Tickets can be purchased at our box office, by phone at 218-998-ARTS (2787) and online atwww.FergusArts.org.

From the beautiful West Coast of Canada comes this extraordinary quintet, renowned among fans of all ages for their instrumental virtuosity, lush vocal arrangements, exuberant live performances, evocative songwriting, and a refreshing sound that transcends musical boundaries and defies simple categorization.

Strings, bellows, keys, voices, skin and bows — these are the vehicles for The Bills’ unique sonic approach. Individual band members sport world-class credentials in folk/roots, jazz, classical and world music. They include: Marc Atkinson (mandolin, guitar, vocals), Adrian Dolan (fiddle, accordion, piano, vocals), Chris Frye (guitar, lead vocals), Richard Moody (violin, viola, vocals), and Scott White (upright bass, vocals).
