GRACEVILLE — Limiting turnovers and creating opportunities on the offensive end. Those were the keys to victory for the Ashby girls basketball Monday as it defeated Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 55-34 in the opening round of the Section 6A playoffs.

Ashby’s Amber Sundal and Abbi Ras each contributed 13 points in the win.

The Arrows will travel to Henning to take on the Hornets in a 7 p.m. Thursday showdown in the section.
