Filler to share her story in Pelican Rapids [UPDATED]

Cara Filler, an educational speaker who uses stories from her own troubled past in her presentations, will be at Pelican Rapids High School Monday afternoon, according to the Pelican Rapids Press.

Filler saw her twin sister die in a car crash at 18 and has since devoted her life to fighting against drug and alcohol use by teens.

The presentations is being put on by the school’s Students Against Destructive Decisions chapter.

Filler is set to speak at 12:30 p.m. Monday. There is no charge and the public is welcome.
