87-year-old injured in rear-end crash [UPDATED]

A Bismarck man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday just south of Fergus Falls, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Harry Renschler, 87, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash, which happened just before 1:30 p.m. at mile marker 62 east on Interstate 94.

His vehicle, a Toyota Avalon, reportedly rear-ended a Chevy Malibu which was stopped for a crash ahead.

The driver of the Malibu, Jamie Krump, 37, of Hankinson, N.D., was not injured in the crash.

Renschler was taken to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls for his injuries.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed.
