Dog bites Midweek carrier

A loose dog at a Fergus Falls home bit a 55-year-old Midweek carrier Saturday, according to police.

The carrier was delivering papers just after 11:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Birch Avenue when a dog loose on the front step of a house bit him in the right calf causing a puncture wound.

He denied medical treatment.

The dog’s owner was cited for animal attack. The dog is up to date on all of its shots.
