The training session started at around 7 p.m. at 2108 County Highway 111 and included about 30 firefighters, according to Fire Chief Mark Hovland.

“We did some live fire attacks,” Hovland said of the session’s agenda.

There were two upstairs fires and one on the main floor of the building, Hovland said. The building burn-down began at around 9:30 p.m. and the final crews left the scene around midnight.

“We always learn from these exercises,” Hovland said.
