$5K in tools stolen near Erhard [UPDATED]

More than $5,000 worth of items were stolen from a seasonal property southeast of Erhard, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

The items, discovered stolen recently, were in a pole shed on Tonseth Lane. Three portable generators, a Northern Tool wood splitter, a Stihl MS-290 chain saw, a Stihl pole chain saw, a DeWalt table saw, a compound mitre saw and other items were all taken in the burglary.

There was no forced entry to the shed.

The case is under investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office at 218-998-8555.
