The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a vehicle that was possibly involved in a hit and run crash in Stearns County, according to a news release.

The vehicle is a 1998 brown Cadillac Deville with a Minnesota license plate of 051EXA.

The sheriff’s office received a report Saturday to try and find the vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle, a Henning man, reportedly loaned the vehicle to a woman in Henning three weeks ago.

She was stopped and arrested for suspicion of DWI the previous evening, and the vehicle was released to an unknown man whom the driver said was a friend of hers.

The driver was later charged with careless driving and released.

Neither the vehicle or the driver have been located as of Monday morning.

The vehicle’s owner reported the unauthorized use of his vehicle Saturday.

The only person he loaned the vehicle to had permission to use it.
