Henning 5th grade girls basketball to play in state Pacestetter tournament

The Henning fifth grade girls’ basketball team will play in the Pacesetter Minnesota Youth Basketball State Championship Sunday at St. Ben’s in St. Joseph. Over 600 teams played in the eight region Pacesetter playoff system in the spring to earn a berth into the state championship.

The fifth grade girls’ state championship eight-team bracket has Henning taking on Big Lake at 9:50 a.m.

Each team in the tournament will play three games.
