URBANK — The Otter Tail Central Legion baseball team wrapped its regular season with a doubleheader split with Parkers Prairie.

Parkers Prairie was able to use a three-run sixth inning to bury the visiting team’s chances in a 5-2 game one victory.

Parkers Prairie scored solo runs in the first and fourth and held OTC hitless until the sixth inning.

After the home team built a 5-0 lead, OTC would find two runs on errors by Parkers Prairie to prevent the shutout.

In game two, Jake Trosdahl’s RBI double helped OTC earn the split 3-2.

Entering the fifth inning, Parkers Prairie held a 2-0 lead. OTC would see back-to-back singles by Carl Colburn and Jakob Bradsteen setup a two-out rally as Zack Torgerson found the gap for a two-run single and Trosdahl followed with the go ahead hit.

OTC coach Ryan Hendrickson complimented his pitchers in game two as Tyler Aune went 4 1/3 innings allowing one earned and Trosdahl finished out the game to pick up the save.

“Aune was fantastic. He is a spark plug for us and gives everything he’s got every time for every opportunity,” said Hendrickson.
