Selmer and Pat Trosvig will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house in their honor from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, in the fellowship hall at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
Their children will serve as hosts.
The couple was married Aug. 17, 1957 at First Lutheran Church.

Arden “Bud”Hanson and Myrna (Haggstrom) Hanson
Arden “Bud” Hanson and Myrna (Haggstrom) Hanson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6. They were married in 1947, at Zion Lutheran Church in Amor.
The couple has five children, Linda and Bill Moore of Clarksville, Tenn., Bruce and Anne Marie Hanson of Ottawa, Kansas, Laurie and Keith Hoover of St. Joseph, Mo., Lynette and Kip McGrath of Weston, Mo., and Brad Hanson of Weston, Mo. Bud and Myrna have six grandchildren, Chris Moore and Brian Moore, Shelly Williams, Nathan Hoover, Bridget Head, Erin Frakes, and Eric Hanson. They have four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Mat, Lindsey, and Brooklyn.
Their children request a card shower for their parents to celebrate the 60 years of love, commitment and blessings the two have shared. Family and friends are asked to share memories and best wishes. Cards may be sent to 17955 Sunrise Dr., Weston, MO 64098.

Skramstad — Frye
Rusty and Kim Skramstad of Pelican Rapids, Shari and Dennis Frye of Fergus Falls, and Pam and Jeff Hanson announce the engagement of their children, Amanda Rae and Nicholas Anton Wahl. He is the son of the late David Wahl.
Amanda is a 2003 graduate of Twin Oaks Preporatory School in Fergus Falls and is a 2005 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar, with a certification in massage therapy. She has attended the previous two years of college at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton.
He is a 2001 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is employed as a graphic designer at Signworks in Fergus Falls.
A Sept. 8, 2007, wedding is planned at Stavanger Lutheran Church of rural Fergus Falls.

Legge — Edwards
Kathy Legge and Jason Edwards announce their engagement. Parents are Jeff and Renae Legge and Dan and Sandy Edwards, all of Fergus Falls.
Kathy is a 2006 graduate of Valley City (N.D.) State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical science from North Dakota State University.
Jason is a 2004 graduate of Augsburg College and teaches sixth grade at Discovery Middle School in Fargo.
An Oct. 6, 2007, wedding is planned at Calvary Free Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
