Engagement: Schulz and Kennedy

The Rev. Richard and Mary Kennedy of Vining, formerly of Fergus Falls, announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy, to Jeremy Schulz, son of Ed and Jean Schulz of Peosta, Iowa.

The bride-to-be is a 1994 graduate of Fergus Falls High School. She is also a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, and the New England College of Optometry, Boston, where she obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is employed by Visual Edge as an optometrist in Rochester.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cascrade High School, Cascrade, Iowa, and the University of Iowa. He is employed by IBM in Rochester.

The wedding will take place Feb. 10 at Good Shephard Lutheran Church, Rochester.

Wedding: Jensen

Teresa Scharber and Eric Jensen were married Sept. 30, 2006, at The Van Dusen Center in Minneapolis.

Parents are Leon and Jeanne Jensen of Fergus Falls, Mary Durden of Plymouth, and George Scharber of Oakdale. Grandparents of the couple are Vernon and Bernice Jensen of Fergus Falls, Florence and the late James Edwin Pfeffer of Gatesville, Texas, Mary Ann Walker of Coon Rapids, and Laura Scharber of Anoka.

Attendants of the bride included Marcy Groh and Julie Mieczko, sisters of the bride, and Tammy Gold and Jerri Constant, friends of the bride. The groom's attendants were Brady Jensen and Ryan Jensen, brothers of the groom, and Kelly Knutson and Ben Jurgens, friends of the groom.

The flower girl and ring bearer were Emma Mieczko and Riley Groh, niece and nephew of the bride. Ushers were Cory Scharber and Trisha Gonzalez.

Teresa works for Super Valu at the corporate office in Eden Prairie and is
completing her degree in business marketing at Concordia University in St. Paul. She is a graduate of Tartan High School in Oakdale.

Eric works for Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis. He is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School, Concordia College in Moorhead, and the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business.

The couple resides in Golden Valley.

Wedding: Miller

Jill Johnson and Matt Miller were married Aug. 5, 2006, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Friberg Township.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Cindy Johnson of Fergus Falls and the groom is the son of Gary and Nancy Miller of Drake, N.D.

Matt receieved his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in December
2005 and is employed by Dakota Gasification Co. in Beulah, N.D. Jill received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in December 2006. She currently substitute teaches.

A reception was at the Eagles in Fergus Falls.

The couple make their home in Hazen, N.D.

Wedding: Simon

Amy Miller and Lee Simon were married Sept. 16, 2006, at Our Lady of Victory Church, Fergus Falls.

Parents are Jeff and Barb Miller of Fergus Falls and Randy and Charlotte Simon of Oberon, N.D.

Maid of honor was Renee Renelt, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heidi Simon, sister of the groom, Codi Olson and Brook Olson, friends of the couple, and Rondi Scoular and Kjirsten Pearson, friends of the bride.

Personal attendants were Heidi Toso and Kari Pederson, cousins of the bride, and Katie Gail, friend of the bride.

Best man was Mark Simon, brother of the groom, and honorary best man was David Young, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Bryan Kenner, Charles Semling and Eric Olson, friends of the couple, and Brett Miller and Mark Miller, brothers of the bride.

Flower girl was Hannah Hoffmann, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was David Linehan, friend of the couple. Ushers were Jay Stryle, Paul Leverington, Keith Groven and Curtis Olson, friends of the couple.

Amy is a 1999 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is a 2006 graduate of North Dakota State Univerasity, Fargo, with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. She is employed by Spirit Lake Health Center in Fort Totten, N.D. Lee is a 1998 graduate of Maddock High School and is a 2002 graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in ag economics. He is the owner of Total Ag Consulting in Maddock, N.D.
